Junior Civil Structural Designer and 3D Plant Design Modeller

Job description
Position Description
The Junior Civil / Structural Designer and 3D Plant Design Modeller will use their design and drafting skills to support the civil structural components of projects as assigned within HOCS.
Responsibilities
- Production of CAD layouts and detailed design documents for plant site roads, grading, reinforced concrete, structural steel, building architectural and work packages.
- Assist with the creation and compiling of construction work package documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad, Experience with Plant 3D, Civil 3D, AutoPlant, Aveva E3D, Smart Plant CAD software [please state] will be considered an asset.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Effective team player with the ability to function independently on small projects.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Drafting and modeling with precision and care with proper engineering and coordination follow up.
- Exercises good judgment and possesses decision-making and problem solving skills based on real world scenarios.
- Good in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, superior user of Excel.
- Strong self-checking attributes and tenacity for high quality output.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years engineering drafting and modeling experience, preferably in chemical and petroleum industry, infrastructure and civil earthworks projects.
- Completion of a minimum of 2 or 3 small scale projects.
- Must be able to provide a sample drawing of your work for evaluation.
